| Silverfish Books provides four services: | |
(i). Read and general critique. We will read and assess your work then furnish you with overall constructive criticism of your plot, dialogue, characterisation, style, presentation, etc. We'll let you know where your writing succeeds and where it fails, and then suggest improvements. |
|
(ii). Read and full critique. This service will include everything mentioned in (i) above, plus chapter by chapter critique and evaluation. If we feel that your work is not ready for full critique, we will inform you and charge you as per item (i) above. |
|
(iii). Editing and proof reading. This service will not include critique of work, but will focus only on the use of (English) language. |
|
(iv). Proof reading only. Silverfish will only undertake this if in our opinion the standard of use of the (English) language is adequate and not require extensive editing. (In other words it will only include spelling and punctuation.) We do not recommend this unless the work has already been edited by a competent editor. |
