Slaughter & Deception at Batang Kali

In December 1948, barely 6 months into the British Emergency, a Scots Guard patrol killed 24 Chinese plantation workers in a raid at a Malayan rubber estate near the township of Batang Kali. The British programme of concealment that followed meant that the story of Batang Kali has never been fully told. Four years of research by two journalists has gone into this book, which hopes to present a cohesive study of the episode.
