Fearing the Task is an interesting story about Abu Nawas' father who is a famous Counsellor in Baghdad. When Maulana the Counsellor falls sick, Abu Nawas faces the task of being the next Counsellor to the Sultan. But Abu Nawas does not want the job as a Counsellor. In order to escape from his responsibilities, he tries to trick the Sultan in many ways. Abu Nawas even pretends to be insane and manages to convince Sultan Harun al-Rashid and all the people of Baghdad.
