New Era Education

New Era College is wholly supported by Malaysian Chinese community and run by Dong Jiao Zong, the two national organisations leading the Chinese education movement. It stands out as a non-profit-making tertiary-level institution committed to “nurturing holistic, cultured, competent professional leaders who lead socially responsible lives.” Under the stewardship of its principal, Dr Kua Kia Soong from its politically charged incubation to its development into a sustainable tertiary-level institution, it is now primed to join the league of university colleges. In terms of academic support and physical environment, its campus ranks among the best private colleges in the Klang Valley. But it is in providing a truly holistic education-community-centred, multicultural, caring encouraging creativity and critical thinking – that sets New Era College apart from the other higher education institutions.
