This Land

This novel is about Albert Sia Hiong Tiong, who did not believe his roots could flourish this land. This adopted land of his mother was slowly driving the Chinese culture and language he had all so embraced to extinction to preserve a fragile multi-racial society. His disillusionment leads him to Yunnan, China. This was to be his true land; a land true his culture; a land true his race. Albert Sia Hiong Tiong has embarked on a journey in search of his true roots, only to find that the truth of this land would soon lead him to the path he would have never dreamt of taking before.
